ARTROM Internship Program: Supporting the Next Generation of Engineers

ARTROM STEEL TUBES announced its educational Internship Program. This internship program brings together 11 talented students from the Polytechnic University of Bucharest, University of Craiova, and University of Sibiu, who are assigned experienced mentors from ARTROM STEEL TUBES.

Running from July 1 to September 30, 2024, this three-month program offers students the unique opportunity to gain both theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Students will work alongside our specialist engineers, participating in the production processes at both ARTROM plants Resita and Slatina. They will experience the entire production flow, from the creation of raw materials (billets) to the production of finished goods (tubes), gaining a comprehensive understanding of our operations. This hands-on approach allows them to see how the mechanical and electrical equipment they study in school is applied in an industrial setting.

Through this program, students can enhance their technical skills, learn about our cutting-edge technologies, and understand the real-world applications of their academic studies.

Additionally, our specialist engineers will have the opportunity to interact with and evaluate the future generation of professionals, gaining insights into their technical abilities and competencies.

We are dedicated to supporting talented young people and providing them with valuable learning experiences that prepare them for successful careers in engineering.
